  • What is Wheels 2U Greenwich?

    Wheels 2U is an affordable ride sharing service in Greenwich, CT. Download the app, request a ride, and a vehicle will pick you up and drop you off in the Wheels 2U Greenwich service area. Either your trip's origin or destination must be the Greenwich Train Station.

  • Can I bring my dog or other animal with me on the shuttle?

    Only service animals are allowed on the vehicle.


    Service animals are always welcome. Service animals are defined as, “Any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability, including, but not limited to, guiding individuals with impaired vision, alerting individuals with impaired hearing to intruders or sounds, providing minimal protection or rescue work, pulling a wheelchair, or fetching dropped items.”


    Service animals are animals that are “individually trained to work or perform tasks.” This training can be by an organization or by an individual, including the individual with a disability. Transit agencies are not required to transport animals that have not been individually trained to perform specific work or tasks.


    Our drivers may ask riders two questions: 

    • Is the animal a service animal required because of a disability?
    • What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

    Riders with a service animal must maintain control of their animal at all times. The driver will refuse to transport a service animal if it demonstrates disruptive behavior such as growling, being threatening, or lunging towards passengers or other animals on the vehicle.

    Wheels2U Greenwich is provided by Norwalk Transit District in partnership with Via Transportation, which manages the service’s day-to-day operations and dispatching.
